very nice!

may have to get one of these babies! be nice for a mini man portable set up. would need to get rid of the rod/handle part behind the rectangle where the empty carts drop. maybe put a lip on that rectangle so a brass catcher bag could be attached as well. let me get a few $$$ together and i'll pm ya! :)

Scotty,
Yea the pics shown above was one of the first pics I took of the prototype.Since then the grip handle has a rubber grip that slides over it and is alot shorter(stubby grip). Also it detaches from the adapter if you want to shoot with it off.I can tell you the grip makes a huge difference especially when your shooting in the prone position. It helps take alot of the wieght off your shoulder. Will get a pic in a few...

Heres a few pics.
The detachable stubby grip comes standard on all production models. Also if you guys are not concerned with link catching I can make the link chute to where it ejects the links out to the side of the can so you get a full can of ammo.Just something to think about.

Serious interest

50/50 split right down the middle.

Yes, I have two questions as I like your concept:
1. What is the linked round capacity and if below 110,
2. Can you do the same thing with 50 cal can for the same $$$???:cool:

Many thanks. Overbore

Let me know if you guys have any questions!
**Also can be ordered directly from shopping cart**

Did I read somewhere that it will work both as a ground unit or mounted on a 42 AA tripod with T&E. If so, I need one too..

Overbore,
I'll check the max count for you today on a .30cal 50/50 can. Also I can do a .50bmg can if you wanted max capacity.Same price.

Twisted,
The only mount that can currently mounts on an AA tripod is the Dedicated .308 Adapter, however if you really wanted this one to mount on an AA I can always build you something custom for it but this one was really intended to be shoulder fired from the ground/table position (works best with this set-up).As you can see the can will hinder elevation movement becuase it would so close to the AA pintle yoke but I can always mess with it and see what I come up with.

You know my issues...

The other A6 proto you built me worked great for the Sports Fair. I need to get the guns up for the public to use. Put something together for me....Ron

This split 50/50 .30cal can lets you hold 110 rounds in the can +10 more up to the gun )(lock & loaded) Total 120 rnds
Custom short can 50/50 .30cal can lets you hold 70 rounds in the can +10 more up to the gun (lock & loaded)Total 80 rnds

Hope this helps.:)

Have you tried this?

Seems if you move the link/can divider to the 1/3 sector you should get at least 125 rds and the links would fill up in direct proportion to the rounds shot. Just a thought?

Ron,
Yea could get a 75/25 version if you needed one.The idea of the 50/50 split though was to get alteast 3-4 full belts through your gun before having to empty the can out with links. You dont really want to be having to take the can off after every belt to dump the links so atleast this way you can burn through a few belts before having to dump it.Either way I can set-up however you want it.

I have slipped a cog or two as i still do not grasp how many linked rounds your fine accessory will hold with a 50 cal can and divider moved to 75-25% ( more linked room and more room for links in larger can ) . I am claiming age but forget how old that is--- :D:D:D thx Overbore
