After the issues in Ca, I looked up NYS Law for Assault Weapons,,, Too long to copy and paste,,,, link here.

I guess my M1a needs a muzzle brake??? I just don't know how so many dealers are selling AK's without getting hassled by NYS.

Remember...
The purpose of the myriad of laws is not to enforce compliance, but rather to ensure non-compliance.
... so that when they want to come for you, you have already broken a number of laws you had no idea about, and ignorance of the law will not be a valid excuse.

Dieselder,, I've read many excerpts from the book,, but not the book. Just ordered a copy from Amazon :)
As far as the M1a muzzle brake goes, Smith makes a VERY effective one,, I was looking at it last night and they have a video of a FA M14 with one on it,,, astounding performance!!! Check it out,,, http://www.smithenterprise.com/products07.html
