Who sells FA caliber conversion kits?? I will admit I am being lazy and really have not looked, but I was thinking 30-06 and 7.62x39 would be nice to have.

You will need barrel, front cartridge stop,booster, and if you want a 30-06 bolt.
But 30-06 will feed with a .308 bolt.

I have the 30-06 new barrels 185.00
booster 45. Your bolt will work. You will need the rivet installed that acts as a cart stop on the 30-06.

I've got one of the 7.62x39 conversions and is a lot of fun. The plastic links are kind of pricey but are easy to load.

Just curious on the 7.62x39

exactly how pricey are the links, can they be reused? i am thinking of getting one but cant make up my mind.

The links are glass filled nylon and can be easily loaded by hand after the first use. They are a bit pricey though. $20/100 or $180/1000. They can be reused over and over.
