I found this treasure today for $1.00. Vintage Chris Craft "The Baltic" captains hat. I just love those old CC boats, such great lines and beautiful finishes. KevinT

I remember climbing all over them as a kid. We were a dealer and had two stores, one in Corpus Christi for the big boats and the other in San Antonio.

Made in Michigan too, not much is made here anymore except for long unemployment lines.

Chris Craft used to have a fairly large plant here in Holland, MI. It closed probably 30-35 years ago. I think at one time they had a boat plant in Algonac as well. We still have a few boat manufacturers here, but not many.
