Opinion seems to be that Obama is pretty unbeatable. Why? Because he's so charming. He has no accomplishments and no more experience with foreign affairs than the average college student, yet there's a good chance he could be elected president just because he's so darn likable. If this strategy of nominating a nice looking empty suit works, expect future presidential elections to be between two plush toys ("Looks how adorable they are! I can decide which one to pick!").

Just a reminder: We're currently the most powerful nation in the world and the definitely leader at blowing crap up. Our leader should never be charming. He should be scary. He should appear in the nightmares of our enemies, eating their children. Diplomats should not want to meet with him unless they have numerous armed guards for protection. That's who the leader of the most powerful nation should be.

Dooms Day Arriving with the Next Elections?

Just to keep things interesting I'll bring up that the "the world is ending conspiracy group" believes that a smooth talking charismatic person will arrive on the scene. He will bring peace to the world by solving the problems of warring factions and prosperity to all. After all that then people find out he's just a devil in disguise and everything goes to hell in a hand basket. By the way what is a hand basket anyway?

Do you any of you remember the hype in the 1990's up to Dec 31, 1999, the world was supposed to end because the year 2000 Y2K rolled over and everything computer related was going to crash, the same wack-n-jack-offs are in on the conspiracy about the world, gotta say this, if it ended tomorrow there aint a dam thing any1 can do. The Book of Revelations didn't say it was gonna end on a given date, if that was the case I'll gladly go take loans and credit cards and max them out knowing I wont havta repay it.

A little history lesson? In the 1800's, it was very fashionable in Paris and throughout Europe to ride your bicycle on cross country jaunts. However, after leaving the confines of the cities, one on a bike could encounter 2 rather nasty opponents: Robbers waiting in the brush, or numerous rabid dogs. In order to combat this, various French and Belgian arms makers made small size, but large caliber revolvers. (usually .44) The best place to keep these handguns for easy access? Up in the front "handbasket" mounted between the front handlebars. So, if a highwayman or rabid dog approached the bicyclist, you could THEN, 'send them to hell in a handbasket." Or so the story goes.......

Started researching the story ('too much unsupervised time..." ) when a dealer asked me about a certain Belgian made revolver. After researching it, found the stories about the frequent attacks on the bicyclists, and the ease of access storing it up front, in the "handbasket." Have also 'heard" stories of modern day Harley "bikers" using the handlebars of their choppers to covertly house .12 gauge shells, but not sure of the validity. Necessity is the mother of invention? Stay safe. out.
