Just got a call from a fellow locally who tried to get a PPs 43 kit from Sportsmans Guide. They informed him that because of Ohio's mag capacity ban, they couldnt sell these (30 rnds) into Ohio??? What is this all about??? I remember there was a ban some time ago, but I thought it went away with some more recent rulings.......

According to Ohio law, anything that holds more than 30 rounds (31+) is considered a machine gun. 30 round mags are ok. It's been that way for as long as I can remember.

from how i heard it, was that you could have the larger mags just not load them past 30 rounds.


either way, it has been an issue with having things delivered for a while. even aimsurplus was giving issues with shipping their prebelted 30-06 last year for the same reason.
