I have decided to put my kit up for a rainy day (for parts or if one day machine guns become legal to manufacturer again).

Who still manufacturers 100% complete 1919a4's?

Who has the best quality?

I know Ohio Rapid Fire offers 1919a4 (not sure about their quality).

Allied is closing up shop.

Anyone know of other manufacturers?

plenty of outfits out there with them....

but if you want someone to make you a world class gun, just PM JOhn MCGuire here on the site.

after that I'd recommend Black bear at this stage of the game.

So why is AA stopping production of the 1919??? Are the kits drying up.?? Is it because they were using Halo's 80% side plates and getting them dirt cheap?? now that has gone down the tube because of ATF intimidation?? I have a AA gun and I'm really glad I ordered it and got it on sale, when I did. I paid $950 for it and I got it in (4-6 weeks) because if I had started reading stuff on this web site before I ordered a gun from AA, I never would have risked ordering, a gun from them,, with all the bad mouthing they have gotten from people on this site, (deserved or not) I'm not taking any sides, I know nothing about the history, good bad or indifferent with regards to AA...I don't know...but what I do know is my gun shoots great, the park job, fit and finnish is great... I'm very, very happy with it. Now that being said...if a company told me 4-6 weeks and a year later I still had no gun etc I'd be pissed...some of what I have read..I have a friend who ordered a 50BMG from ALS on my recommendation, they are very very accurate guns, the delivery time was quoted as one year, he didn't get his gun for almost two years....he got the run around each time he called e mailed, "it will be done next month line " he was pissed and I felt really bad for my suggestion.. but an Answer you original question Black bear, Allied, ORF, John Mquire, TNW, along with a few places out of the shotgun news also prices are around $1200 these days... B.B. and TNW will run more.. or you can build one, for around $8-900, but that will not include tooling costs....or labor... B2B

Wise Lite Arms is also a manufacturer..

We made a run of M1919's in three different calibers.
They were made under contract to Military Gun Supply.
The semi-auto M1919's are still available on the MGS web site.

WLA just finished up a run of M1919 semi-auto sideplates.
These are improved over what we have sold before (yes, we do read our customer comments and feedback on the boards.)
The initial offering can be packaged with our WLA trigger/sear combo.

If you have a M1919 part set and a WLA sideplate, John McGuire would be a good person to have do the actual build.
I was fortunate enough to have done some business with him in the past and actually bumped into him at Century's tent at KCR.
Not often you get to shake the hand of somebody who you met on a web forum, and took good care of you.

Mc Guire is the "Man"

John's built my last 4 guns and refinished one in record time. The time he quotes is the time you can depend on. No BS or run arounds

I've been buying and building custom match guns for 20+ years now from the finest GUNSMITHS in the world Some taking 4 years to recieve. John's guns are by far the quickest and the best of the bunch......

You can't go wrong at twice his asking price....Flawless work from a flawless guy.

Did I mention Who's building my next 2 speciality guns? Soon John soon.
