I am trying to track down some material for a few projects that I have in mind. I am making a bunch of slings for various set-ups, and I need a source for some heavy duty 1.25" nylon webbing. Preferably something in OD/Ranger Green/Etc. I checked out the DIY Tactical store, but the only 1.25 that they have is black or brown. I'm up to suggestions, what have you guys worked with before?
OT- Where to buy webbing for making some gear?

I suggest calling Sportsmans Guide. They recently listed several various sizes of web material, large, honkin' rolls of it...

This summer I was trying to finish some outside gear mounting for my M-2 half-track, I check with all the webbing suppliers in the military vehicle mags, they wanted $15 each for straps, I went onto evilbay and found some for $2 each, they weren't exactly what should have been used for the half-track but they looked great, and I got all the straps I needed for about what the big guys wanted for one strap, sorry I can't remember the outfits name but the list all the time, punch in webbing and you'll find them, they were great to work with, a couple straps had some damage, he sent out new one at once, it's hard to find that good of service.

I bought webbing, steel HK hooks and sliders to make backup slings for M4's for afghanistan. shipping is very fair and if you live close to one you can order it and pick it up yourself to save on shipping.
check ARFCOM there is a long thread on making your own slings, and there are links to other suppliers for webbing of other designs, like camo and the such including cylindrical webbing, if you go there they may still be offering discounts if you buy through them but the only place you'll be able to get the discount code is from there, unless its expired but TMK they were selling more webbing off arfcom then they were in other places.
