I saw a m2hb parts kit on military gun parts web site was wondering if it would be worth the money to mess with
there is one on gun broker now not a complete set but all new partsThought they were way to far gone but it never hurts to ask.
Here is the link to the one histeve4 has on GB: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=518550054there is one on gun broker now not a complete set but all new parts
Len, are you talking about the $40 springs kits they had or on sale at 3 for $100 ? if so they are no longer offered and if they did I would get a bunch of them.Just for clarity,I've never seen a 'complete' M2HB kit (minus RSP and trigger/sear parts). Usually, you have to get a few springs, pins or minor bolt/bbl extension parts to complete the build. After a couple tries to get needed parts,I decided to order the spring and small parts kits from SARCO. I was thrilled to get every part needed to finish my build...plus some badly needed extras...and made it a practice to get these kits for every M2HB build after that. They even included the large flat spring used on the bottom of the WW2 buffer body...!!! I would encourage anyone who intends to build an M2HB,to order these valuable and hard to get parts in a kit from SARCO...rather than try to get them piece-meal.
Well...those are turds. Wow...Im guessing you're referring to the ones at military gun supply that are torch cut thru the trunnion?

Thanks for the heads up. It's worth it if you are building a postie and need both side plates. They have two different kits but im not sure the difference between them.I saw a m2hb parts kit on military gun parts web site was wondering if it would be worth the money to mess with
