Okay here she is. Not too bad at all Dec 1942 Remington with high number receiver. Heavier profile barrel, nice stock only missing the front trigger guard screw (already ordered one). I had the scope and it fit like it had always been on there. Think I'll pick up some ammo and go shoot this weekend? Maybe I'll put up the pictures of the 1952 Winchester model 70 that was the other half of this package deal! KevinT. Looks pretty good. Not a bubba job. Now all it needs is a milled trigger guard to look real cool but not hardly something that everybody would notice. If it was a M1903M (modified) the stamped trigger guard would have been original to the gun even on an 03. Modified 03s were not marked M1903M just M1903.
