This is yet another gift from a friend of mine. I'm picking up the rollers tonight and then I'll be in search of type and all the other goodies that go along with it. Build date translates to 1st week in January 1966. KevinT
As cute as it looks painted red it was originally just bare cast metal. I'm thinking about blasting it down and parking it. The paint on it is not very good and it is chipping off in places so if I was to really use it I'm sure more would chip off. I think it would look good parked and oiled. Time will tell! KevinT
Sure looks like the one we had in eighth-grade shop class! Neat find! Yes, it was unpainted. It doesn't print US notes very well, but thanks for the memories.
