I just got a M66 gun ring and 30/50 cradle to mount my1919a4 on my M35 Deuce and a half but the cradle didn't have the pins to mount the gun. Anyone know where to get some? BMG parts has them but $130 plus shipping seems like alot for a couple of pins.
thanks

If you know anyone in the machinist world there is a great supplier of those at cheap prices (all kinds of sizes), the name escapes me but I,ll find out and post tomorrow. I could not seem to find mine for my t&e so the boys next door to my shop had one in two days for 4.80 delivered I figured the minute I spend 40-50.00 on a "correct" one I would end up finding mine.

sorry for the delay guys, I had to go out of town for the day but I will post info in the morning and if anyone cannot find a local source let me know sizes and I can get them at cost for you, the machine shop next to my shop hooks me up nice.

Dont know if this is what you want??? Im not bill.

I have a few sets of Browning Machine Gun Cradle Pin Assemblies. The pins lock the .30 and .50 Browning Machine Guns onto the Pedestal and Ring Mount Cradles. These are not imports as sold by those that offer the mounts. These are actual US GI from the 1960's. The addition of cadmium plating was a specification adopted during Vietnam to prevent rust. Each pin has the GI wire form and chain. PHOTO of the pins with cadmium plating.

The set consists of:

Pin Rear, Ordnance Part Number 7070291

Pin Front, Ordnance Part Number 7070292

Price for a set of each is $40.00 plus UPS shipping. For those that prefer WWII thru Korea non-plated pins, I can substitute the front pin only, part # 7070292 without plating, at customer's request.

30/50 Pins

We do not have a source for surplus pin sets, so we have them manufactured. We have a government contracted machine shop in Georgia machine the pins and crimp the ball detents. They also make the wire formed handles and weld them, like the originals. They are shipped to a shop in California where the chains and hooks are added and then blasted and parkerized. We manufacture 30/50 and M23 replacement pin sets. We also manufacture the original style M31C travel bar pin and the BAR pin for the D38579 Cradle. Unfortunately, we have to pay today's shop rates. Let me know if we can be of service.

Thanks,

Rick
