I thought about it... but that was my major concern. I'd be willing to bet moving would cost just as much as the whole lot. Not sure if my basic concrete floor would have held it either.

I can use the lathes at work and also have a friend with a lathe about 15 minutes away, so I've not worried much about having my own. A few months ago however, a friend who is relocating to another state and downsizing made me a deal I could not refuse. Not just the lathe, but a top & bottom Craftsman tool box full of tooling, boring bars, mics, indicators, etc. I'm not gonna say what I paid as it would make some of ya cry, but he priced it, not me. I made no offer nor counter-offer, I just said "I'll take it"

It starts with one and then grows....I have another lathe, shop press, BIG compressor, blast cabinet, band saw, and other misc stuff still in storage as I have to add on to my little shop of wonders...yes that’s a CNC Mill and yes I use it all the time lol

Speaking of growth, anyone need a small hole EDM? Even if I could figure out how to run it, I don't really have a use for it. Supposedly low hours and surplused form local community college because no one knew how to run it.
