With the semi PPSHs on the market and 7.62x25 at about 9 cents per round...I'd like to know what it takes to convert to 9mm so I can reload?

I heard the drums and mags will take 9mm.
Will the bolts work with 9mm unaltered?
Where are barrels available from...if they are?
Will a 9mm Suomi barrel fit a PPSH unaltered?

Thx.

For what it's worth - you could always reload 7.62x25. I checked into it back a while when I was considering another gun in this caliber. Brass is available, reloading dies are available.

PPsH 9mm conv.

I.O. had the 9mm conv. parts (all you need is the barrel and mag well insert) for $150.00. It uses mp40 mags. If you don't want to use mp40 mags, I read somewhere that the standard ppsh drum would also work with 9mm. I do not know for sure, but worth a try. I went the cheap route and bought their insert for $50.00 then ordered the barrel from (I believe) K-Var for $50.00. (dellque)
