I am seeking information on 3 1917a1 tripods I own. I have 3 different badges is one more scarce than another? I want to sell one and keep 2. Which should I keep. I tried uploading pics but I keep getting a message to sign in. How can I upload pics?

Here you go Ed. Lamson 42, McEvoy 41 and the last is a McEvoy remanufactured by Lamson which is kind of unique. Russ

Now look at Dolf's book and find out how many of each were made. Then check out how they look. Is the top piece marked? Then which do you really like.

Ed some pictures of the cradles would also help with the decision. Hard to say what you have without seeing them and check the tripod sockets to see if they are brass or steel, I am guessing the first two are brass and the 45 rebuild is steel but if they are painted just check them with a magnet. Russ
