I got a specially picked kit from Megan a couple of months ago. The kit after examining it has a saw cut it the LSP where some one chopped too deep removing the RSP ( about 15% deep). Last night while cleaning up the kit, I found that the sight tower was bent down and cracked at the reinforcing area. I know you can't weld this with a TIG torch as I have tried broken pieces before and they sort of explode when touched with the tungsten. I am hesitant to return it as I have gone to the trouble of removing the remaining RSP sliver and old rivets. Does any body have a sight base they want to sell for a fair price?

FloridaAKM, Just contact Megan and send it back, she will make it right with you. Consider the first one from them as practice on removing the rivets.

This kit is a mix of BA & SG. I will contact Megan and see what she can do. Removing the rivets was easy, so no problem there.
