Hey all,

Thanks to TomT for the help on where to get a new semi trigger.

The problem I noticed last night was that the small tabs on each side of the tigger that engage the sear were broke off due to me forcing action when I changed out the accelerator. I had forgotten to cut out the accelerator so when the bolt went to the rear it sheared off the tabs.

So, before ordering a new trigger I thought I would just drop a small weld on each side of the trigger where the previous tabs were. I then took a file and worked them until it would lock cleanly with the sear and would clear the slot in the accelerator.

It seemed to work except now the bolt cycle back when the trigger is held down. You can't just pull the trigger, release, pull the bolt back. The bolt hangs up after about 1" of travel.

What has happened? Will a new trigger fix this or is there something else that is wrong?

I have inspected the weapon closely and all I found was the broke ears on the accelerator.

I worked some more on the sear engagment tangs on the trigger. A little filing and polishing. Still had the problem. So I change out the breachblock and it seems to be working fine now. No hang ups.

It made sense that it was hanging on the breach block but I couldn't tell why. I had it in the lock frame correctly. It does look like it does not have as much bevel on it as my old one.

Anyway, hopefully I think I've fixed the problem.

Thanks for your input guys
