After reading the description and looking at the receiver in the pics, I think this is a thin, sheetmetal mock up. Looks like cheap aluminum pop rivets holding it together. Don't think the box is the real thing. Probably legal enough, if I am correct on the construction, and no internals can be fitted.

This is a mish-mosh of pieces he has a 11mm balloon gun shroud a colt vickers rear sight for a ground gun and who knows which set of spade grips, mounted on a M2 tripod for the photos, the jacket took a good hit on the left rear. it was probably made up for someone's WWI aviation collection from bits they collected.

Just me but unless I could inspect it in person I would not bid too many "IF'S".

I just noticed where the cocking lever is bolted to the side way up in the middle of the RSP not at the rear, the lever itself looks made up, this thing is more fantasy than gun, it almost looks like who ever put the parts together thought that's what a Vickers looks like.
Also the LSP is made up.... there is no provision for the fussie spring or its cover. just a very expensive pile of parts. if some one really needed a Colt Vickers U.S. rear sight and cover and had no other way to get it, it still would be a big chunk to set down.
I wish I could get the prices he asks for collector ammo! his prices
are just a bit much.

Definitely not Vickers production sideplates, but sheetmetal. Nothing on there that is useable for a ground gun, but a couple parts for someone with an 11mm gun, who needs an extra feedblock or topcovers. Grips are Brit ground gun, and the rear sight is a .50 BMG sight bracket screwed onto the topcover. Colt Vickers rear sight bases are integral with the topcover. Total shuck and jive.

Bob is right about this scam -

This pile of parts has been around for a while.
I remember seeing him try to sell it about a year or maybe year and a half ago.
