I started the process of transferring a full auto AUG from Pennsylvania to Utah where I live late last summer. It arrived at my Class 3 dealer last.
I will start the paperwork for the transfer to me tomorrow. I was wondering how long ATF is taking these days. My last transfer two year ago took 14 months.
I have a second question. Do transfers to a gun trust take longer than transfers to an individual?
Thanks for any help or advice in advance
I have been hearing about 6 months but not sure. And trusts do take longer than individual form 4. I have a can in jail right now. Hoping it will be back in another month or so.
Local C3 friend mentioned a few days ago he's been getting stamps in about 5 1/2 months. Didn't say anything about individual vs trust but assume that's mostly individuals. Been seeing elsewhere where approval dates are often a couple or more weeks prior to actual stamp receipt so they probably let them accumulate before sending out.
The last ones I did went like this
1914 Hotchkiss took 7 months
Vickers took 4 months
1914 Hotchkiss 7 months
Hotchkiss Portative 5 months
Hope this helps
Sometimes I wish i would have done a trust with my brother but then other times im glad i didn't. That may change if we start buying mgs.
