Has anyone shot the new M53(Century distributed, WLA made, MG42 semi) yet? First hand progress report?

since when... if century is on back order building them and the amount fo receivers they need is a ton and last i heard WLA sold out the last allowed to the public would be interesting to see if they do in fact sell more...

Who said they are Century/WLA? If I remember correctly, they are from BRP...I think..

I bought other guns(Ppsh-41 and a DP28) that were made by WLA and even though I had some early issues with them WLA took care of them totally(I rate a company as good to deal with if issues are corrected in a timely manner). I communicated with him when this project was first being worked on and he said he would not release them for sale until they came off the "line" in working order as he did not want to sell something that would have to be shipped back to him numerous times. I am on the waiting list and I was wondering how the guns were fairing in reguards to their exterior finish and functioning performance.

I wonder if they will maintaine the pre order price instead of the current price if thats the case my name is down for one if someone is interested since I am building one and i bought the WLA rear section... I will call Centruy and find out...

Well I am # 8 in line so hopefully I will get a phone call soon. my rep said yeah on the old price unless somethign major had occured which i know nothing major occured lol.... so hopefully the phone call will come in sooner then later...
