Can anyone explain how to removed the elevation knob and screw, along with the aperture, from the sight ladder (wrong term probably)?

I can't see how to get them apart unless I just have to use more force. I run the aperture all the way to the top and it looks like it might slide out to the front of the sight but I don't want to damage anything.

Thanks in advance.

Oh by the way, I would like to park all the parts individually.

Sure nuff. Boy that's a small pin. Not to mention the plunger and spring.

I managed to get the pin out with a 1/16 inch drift punch but that's too big really. Any idea what size that pin is?

Thanks,
Jeff

Pin

The drawing number for the pin is A5013162, it is .0512 (-.0007) inches in diameter and .200 (-.005) long the numbers in () are the manufacturing tolerances.

In 1943 it was available as a spare part. Later only the whole leaf assembly was the only replacement part.
