I received a Remington Model 6 from the father-in-law, but something leads me to believe that there is something wrong. Does anyone have a picture of the bottom of the barrel where the ejector is? I think someone may have cut it or it broke. This is not the Remington Model 6 Improved, but the regular model 6.

Hey Pat just write to Remington for the booklette (free). And Quick. They will either send you the owners manual or a reprint free. It should include what you are looking for. Include the ser. # and they will also try and pinpoint production date.
Almost all Remington manuals are available free ( if they have them). Just ask.:D
