Removing breach block cam?

I am finally building the kits i bought 4+ years ago and found that on both kits the cam screw is so well staked i can't remove it.

Any suggestions how to get the thing removed without destroying the threads on the breach block or the bottom plate?

a couple of guys

have posted success with an impact driver. i did not have one so i ground out the staked areas with the dremel and backed it out with a large screw driver. i ended up replacing the screws with some that i found at a local hardware store

So far impact driver has worked. Also works on the backplate adjusting screw and barrel shroud screw.
