Good Afternoon all, saved the pennies and I now have permission from homestation 6 to order a tripod set up. Ive been looking at what IMI Offers and Im leaning toward them because I can get free shipping with my prime membership because they are offered on Amazon.

Any experience with them?

I like IMA but have heard about and seen these tripods. Not so swell. Jeff Prater on this board (ironcreations) has a website and makes nice repro tripods. Good luck and try to get a real one. J

Jeff demonstrates his quality by standing on them. Try that with a cheap chi-com knockoff.

Seriously, the cheap repros will be a disappointment.

I like the one we got from Jeff at iron Creations. Built right and doesn't skip on material.
We will be buying more in the future as need arises.

IronCreations....

+1 for Jeff's tripods...M2 and his newer M3 for the .50 M2HB. 10th Mountian Div. used them in Afganistan and still has 'em. Nothing else needs to be said about the quality and toughness of Jeff's work.
