RVO has over $500.00 of my hard earned capital. I've caught her (Nikki)
twice by calling over 50 times to inquire about my order and even after talking to her she hasn't had the common decency to call back with the info requested. I did recieve part of my order of 1000 308 bullets and 2000 233. I should wait till I get everything before complaining but this is getting to me. I talked to her again today and she said " they were shipped " I'll see what happens.
so it sounds like other people were right stay away. thanks

RVO Orders

I have been a customer since back in the 80's. They were always good to deal with and helpful to a novice reloader. Since Tom (one of the business owners) passed away un-expectedly it seems the business is not operating as smoothly. The web site has not been up-dated since June of 2005, for example 1K of 50 BMG cases is $190. My last order shipped shortly after it was placed. Getting an answer on the phone was a challenge bcause with the noise from the machines operating they rely on the answering machine. Based on my experience I think you will receive what you've paid for. I'd be reluctant from your current expereince to place any orders that I was not going to pick up in St.Charles in person.
As a tidbit of knowledge Lewis and Clark actually started and ended their journey from St. Charles which at the time was a not much more than a few cabins with dirt poor residents. Steven Ambrose's book is an excellent version of their journey. Currently it is a small sleepy tourist town outside of St. Louis. Law enforcement is mounted on horse back in the summer time. Those same LEO's get very nervous if they think you are about to steal their horse while they are in for coffee and donuts. .....So it seemed like a fun idea at the time and they took the kidding well. By now I bet they don't even have my picture on the bulletin board in the Post Office.

I've got a buddy who has sent in 223 brass for resizing and priming and he's still waiting for it. He sent it in last February, was hoping to get it back before June to reload for the Eden shoot in July. Now he's hoping to get it back for the Eden shoot in July for 2008. They just don't answer the phones, he's left MANY messages without a return call yet.

Told him to settle for this decade and just go buy more brass.

I delt with them several years ago, shipping was a little slow, took about two weeks to get the order. but they didn't charge my card till it shipped. With a charge card, at least mine, if they charge the cards and the stuff dosen't show, you can dispute the charge, the seller reacts pretty rapidly when that happens!

Have had very good dealings with Jeff Bartlett , Bartlett Reloading Supplies, ([email protected]) and would recommend him highly.
