Looking for a Rivet or advice on what to do with the safety bar. I only need one maybe two rivets and do not wish to purchase 100 from supplier. Although if I did, I could supply them to most anyone else who may need one.

Any advise would be appreciated

Original rivets for the Safety Bar are a rare item. Once or twice, someone has made a run of screws with the rivet profile so that the Bar can be added and removed. Maybe that needs to be done again! Not sure how big the demand is though.

I now have an Ordnance Dept drawing of the rivet for the Safety Bar. If there is enough demand, I'd be willing to get them made up in sufficient quantity to last a while. We can make them as a screw, as before. The drawing is from the original 1919 tank gun, dated in 1919.

I'd be in for a screw if it's a standard size thread and not some quircky size like 1/4x27 or 7.6mmx40!!!
Gee, Dave, I was thinking of making it a 10-33, like one of my rear sight slide cap screws that I have tomt make for me. I take it your not keen on that? :D
