I’ve become as suddenly and mysteriously sick as I have ever been. I’ve been plagued with periodic high fevers for several days now.
I know there are only two ways to get to heaven. Rapture or death. I thought for sure the second option was coming first.
I shivered so hard Friday night I could barely walk. It was so violent I lost my breath from the cardio. It was like power walking on the treadmill. Never seen anything like it.
Had about 10 cycles of fevers up to 104 and breaks with profuse soak my clothes sweat. I'm spent. Whipped. I hurt all over (soreness from shivering).
Beth, my wife who is a registered nurse, said the only other place that she had seen such violent tremors that were not seizures is when some people are waking from anesthesia.
I spent the day at urgent care yesterday.
Flu test negative and no other symptoms.
No cough, no congestion, no nausea, no diarrhea. Just fevers.
I think I’ve got an infection somewhere
Blood and urine tests inconclusive in-house. Samples were sent off for further testing.
Dr thought maybe some type of viral infection. I can’t go back to work until test results come back. The team that worked on me seemed genuinely concerned and very puzzled.
Until they figure it out I just have to dig in and hold on.
I'll be ok. After all....if God is for me who can be against me.
I’ve been a member here for years and trust and admire many of you.
Although I have not personally met more than one or two of you, I feel that we are friends.
If you have faith in a higher power whisper a prayer for me. If not, we’ll wishes work.
