I am probably buying some trigger springs off of 30cal at the build party but I was wondering about using a regular coil spring instead of the wrap around type. There is a hole in the back & bottom of the square portion on the semi trigger assy. I have a assortment of coil springs and have one that fits in the hole perfectly and was wondering if it would work. It would go in the hole and then butt up against the middle plate in the trigger group. I have my first 1919 all together and was going to wait for the build party but I AM DIEING TO TEST FIRE IT

you have the Wiselite arms style of trigger, it does use a coil spring as you desribed. Be sure your barrel extension was milled for this type trigger also as it requires a different cut to work.
