I first preface with this is NOT a thread to rant, complain, or attack Lonnie. In my opinion his honesty, skills, and integrity are among the best.

I am just curious how many guys, like myself, are waiting on their PPsH builds?

With the likely liberal shift in Washington this November, time is of the essence. If Lonnie cannot get to my kit, at this point I would rather he let me know, send it back, and I will buy one already built before their prices start the pre-election climb.

We all know he and his wife were sick this winter, things have not gone well for him and I am not trying to be a turncoat but I think we should figure out what is best for us and him, less this goes on another 6 months.

If the workload is more then he can get to there is NO shame in letting us know, but I would just like to know, maybe their ½ done, or nearly complete, I do not know and his phone mailbox is full. I do not want to abandon him but I do not want to have nothing when the next AWB erases the opportunity to have one indefinitely.

Any ideas please chime in.

ive given anyone who asks Lonnies number so that they can call him.

thats about all i can do for you guys.

as far as i know he runs in batches to save moves on the mills.... he may drill 8 bolts then change the set up and mill the sides, change the set ups and mill the bottoms....

you get the idea.

as to where he is on the guns that he has out there, wish i could say they are on the way.

will try to get ahold of Lonnie again and hope that he has not had a relapse.

Thanks SDK1968, that clears things up a bit as to his method.

I appreciate the advice Pirate, it is not that I am lacking in patience, FAR from it. It is just many of us watched war documentaries on the History Channel and A&E while growing up never imagining that thanks to people like you, Lonnie, and many others, that there would be a window, albeit a narrow one, where we could actually have functional examples of these guns. This window will close someday, so I am afflicted more with uncertainty:eek:, rather than lacking in patience.

no problem bub, just wish i had his skills and could help him out.

unfortunately it takes a little fella with many years of machine shope practice to do what he's doing and thinking of....

i'd more than likely just be in his way.
