We located a batch of these ammunition cans and these gun covers (?) in the material that came from the Springfield Sporter's warehouse.
I believe the cans are for the MADSEN-Saetter belt-fed machine gun.
They were offered in 7.62 NATO and 30-06.
Interesting detail, the can has a sliding lock tab to keep the latch secured.
The canvas cover's are a bit of a mystery.
Hopefully someone here recognizes them.

Can anyone confirm identity of these cans? Any info on the MG, nomenclature, caliber, etc. would be helpful. THanks, Taber

I too was hoping that a member had some info to share about these cans.
The dimensions should be a good guide as to what caliber ammo they will accommodate.
So far all I have to go on is the picture in the advert in the old Springfield Sporter's catalog showing that these cans were "Danish MADSEN".

This week we received back several trailer loads of material from our Warehouse 5, all handled, counted and ready to be sold.
So, new US made Galil SAR barrels are restocked, STEN MK 2, MK 3 and MK 5 kits are restocked, STEN magazines are restocked and I am listing Yugoslavian M76 kits for sale.
Next week we will continue to restock and add new material to the web site.

Yes we are!
We have hired 3 new people for mail order and are getting them trained up.
1 of the warehouse people is to be married this weekend and so has a honeymoon planned for the next 2 weeks.
We are expanding and improving.
I am looking forward to seeing what our advertising people will produce in the studio they are building.

I just checked, and APEX has a total of 19 kits in stock, that's across the VG, G, matching and party matching (mis-matched)

Any 4th of July Sales?
Yes, they start on the 2nd of July.
If you have signed up for the APEX E-News the sales will wind up in your inbox.
Here is the current flyer:

You can also check here on the web site:
My INTENTION is that all sale items be listed in that category.
Sometimes not everything goes as planned.....
