I also recall someone tried to register paperclips (as MG conversion devices prior to May 1986) for various open bolt semi-autos, not only did ATF refuse his paperwork, they showed up at his shop. Ransacked the place and confiscated every paperclip in his building, made plenty of threats and left. Surely I'm not the only one who read this story almost a decade ago, might jar some of your memories on who posted it.

I am working on some "bump sticks" now. A piece of plywood and a piece of wooden dowl, and you can do full mag dumps!
