I have a situation with Allied Armament and would appreciate some guidance. Last October Allied Armament offered me a pre-order deal for a set of their spade grips. I sent them my check, which was cashed on October 31, 2007. I have yet to receive my spade grips and I have been unable to contact Allied Armament. Can anyone out there assist me in resolving this situation?

They done spent that money on .50 cal ammo for their dual or quad .50 whichever it was that they posted pics of. Welcome to the board, now youve met AA.

Cant help ya other then just keep on their ass, i wont deal with them anymore, i have one of their spades, it broke, sent it back, got lied to and told id have it back for my shoot a week later and didnt get it back for several weeks. My bad dealings are nothin like what some have had, it just gets worse. Consider it a lesson learned

They crossed the lines drawn by the moderators one time too many. They were given temporary bans, warnings, etc, but finally they wore out the patience of the mods.

Now I have a good personal relationship with James and Albie, but I also understand the mods decision. It is what it is.

Like I posted in another thread:

I ordered a 1919A4 from Allied Armament on Dec 5th. Billing went through on Dec 6th, and I still don't have it.
I've called them no less than 8 times, and emailed no less than 3 times since. I have not had any answers. I don't know if they've built it, if they have a long waiting list, if it's been shipped, etc etc.

The dealer that I'm doing the transfer through is getting annoyed that I have called them 4 or 5 times asking if it came in yet...

When I ordered it in early December, I thought that I'd get it in late December, or worst case early or mid Jan... It's going to be Feb soon!

It takes a lot to get me to the point of throwing the switch on a vendor, but AA got the juice. I ordered and paid for a semi PPSH conversion kit in July of 2006 and got it almost a year later. Dozens of phone calls, emails and converations resulted in just one palaverous dialogue of rhetoric after another. By the time I got the kit I was so disgusted that I didn't even want to look at the project until two days ago.

Some vendors make the mistake of thinking that all broken promises, missed deadlines, etc. will be automatically forgiven when their fine product finally arrives...big mistake. In this club your word means everything and if your word means nothing then you won't last long on this board. Never again.

10 months is pretty excessive. i can see that out of some very intricate things but we are talking about a 1919 here that as you all well know can be done by most people with metal working skills in a weekend. and that is at a build party, not like you are in business to build them. james seemed like a pretty alright guy to me when i met him so i have nothing bad to say about him and really the same for the company as all of my dealings were F2F. but i woudl worry about 10 months for a 1919

AA isn't the only ones doing this.
I know guys waiting for a Rock River that was supposed to be delivered in 4 weeks ,they still do not have it a year later.
I don't understand this ,they say they have all the parts on hand ,how long does it take to build a gun?
Now its the Shot Show ,we will get on it when we get back.
A lot of guys are ordering this stuff afraid of what Congress can do at any time ,and they sure want it before the election.
I bet AA is at the shot show ,and i bet they have spades on display.
I will say this for Robinson Arms ,4 weeks ,means 4 weeks.
Some of these places you call and even though you are the customer ,they act like they are doing you a favor selling you a gun.

Well, remember all the scrambling prior to the 1986 machine gun registration. Everything was bought and registered that even looked like a receiver or RSP. That was for machine guns then. This time it may well be for semi auto versions of machine guns. This gives the vendors even more leverage over people who will give money to them in hopes of getting what is left out there to be purchased in the way of semi auto conversions.:(
