Finally finished riveting my first build. Now to grind some of them smooth and looking for some tips from the seasoned vets on here.

Yes the ones that need to be flush. The Trunnion rivets, PIntle pads, etc

I use 1" or 2" diameter sanding discs on a right angle die grinder, but same operation as GBYENKO describes. If you want to get fancy, you can do finish work on top of that with a flat file-backed strip of emery cloth. How fine you go is up to you. McMaster Carr has 1" and 2" mandrels and discs for a die grinder.
