I think it's for an M-60 but with a little tweaking it should work fine for this use. It's uncut and unmolested, pretty cool huh!

I had the same thing happen ctx

auction 2 weeks ago.assorted guns from a estate auction..but in pile was a real deal german 98% date coded 1980 hk91 that was perfect..wasnt a scratch on the bolt carrier..as if it had never been shot every part matches up even the date coced mag that came with the gun..goter for 1100 bucks..then 200 rds of win 308 20 rd boxes for 40 bucks..musta been my nite to shine gregg in ohio

OK Mouse....put the gun back together.

Yeah, just stuck that one together out of some spare parts. Haven't decided what it's going to be yet....

What a cool find Mouse! :D I've been tinkering with plans to build one of these because they don't come around too often for sale. Want to sell yours? If not, could you at least tell me what thickness they used for the shield part? Is it 1/2"? Thanks.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it yet, maybe one of these days I can buy a MV to put under it!
The armor is about .300" thick, at least using a micrometer in the dark and allowing for the heavy coat of paint that's what it measures. I don't know what grade of steel it is but it's very heavy, definitely some good stuff.
