I've done a few .22 conversion barrels for the 1919 that were threaded for a suppressor. I understand that a suppressed .22 1919, the mechanism makes more noise than the .22 report.

.....well that throws off my way of thinking on how the 1919 operates. Always thought that the booster had to be attached.

In theory you can remove the booster plug, install the swamped A6 barrel and go shooting. The first A6 had no booster at all, just the bearing. Then came the pig-nose booster cap, then the M6/7 flash hider thingy. J
