Lay offs ,Mexican trucks that do not have to conform to DOT standards ,while our truckers get fined for an oil leak.

Lat week gas was $3.37 per gallon in my town in NY,,, the same day, it was $3.07 in Auburn NH. That is just STATE tax,,, if this was on TOS, I would be using some choice words. NGRMFB's are gonna get theirs,,, can't spend those mega dollars from the grave.

When you are driving and need to take a crap ,who has the rest room?
Or a snack ,or a meal , even if you do not buy their oil ?
With the taxes you pay don't you think the Gov. should have well maintained rest rooms available to you so you do not get arrested for going on the side of the road ?
Or to feed you so you do not need to drive into downtown Dallas to eat if you don't wish to ?
OK let me stop the post right now ,sure some rest rooms suck ,some food is just as bad ,but at 17 cents a gallon profit what do you want ? some are very well maintained.
Convenience store ,Your evil oil company pays some of them to allow you to buy there and use the rest rooms.

If the Government is using the HIGHWAY TAX money to fix the HIGHWAYS, than I'm the Easter Bunny. All those taxes go into the General Funds and get used to pay to support Joe Twenty year old with the limp from falling on his snowboard, to Danny *** that got the Aids from one too many rest area stops. We can't forget seventeen year old Suzy with the three kids (from three different Dads),, good Lord, you can't expect her to WORK!!!
Hell,, we have all that HIGHWAY money just a-sitting there,,, to hell with the roads,,, all those Wellfare cases don't drive anyway,,, they take the bus.

There has been a good amount of manipulation of our economy for quite some time now. Housing values have been artifically inflated so american's could borrow more money against their rising asset. This was done to take the place of any wage increase the average blue collar worker should have been getting. Now we have the debt owed on homes greater than the value of those homes.
The debt load that is carried on credit cards, auto loans, and time payment plans, that a couple of decades ago those items would have been mostly paid for in cash, again reflect that credit availability is being used to stimulate the economy instead of hard currency in a workers pay check.
The down fall of our economy began when we left the gold standard. The plan for globalization has lead us to where we are today.
The politcians will never say they were wrong in any of this. They will find scape goats like the oil companies to blame to keep the american people off center from the real cause. They will throw us a bone with some tax cut that will really do nothing or some type of rebate scheme that will only do any good for about a second and a half.
We can address the entitlements, the hand outs, the corruption, the cooking the book's, and all the other things that the politicians do to waste our money but the truth is we, as american's, have reached a point where we are overextended in our personal finances and can't afford to pay to keep our government afloat.

I'm sure Bu$h and Cheney's oil company friends have nothing to do with the gouging of the oil price, nor the fuel we burn up in Iraq driving it up. How about the huge profits that the oil companies have posted not to mention all the money they laundered and we will never know about? The big problem is the dollar and what the neofascists have done to it. Did you all notice how much money that was "lent" to the banks in the last week, with a load of crappy mortgages as collateral. Thats like taking broken guns and tools to your local pawn shop and getting full price for them. How long will your pawn broker stay in business then? The war is going to cost us up to 3 trillion dollars as a Nobel Prize winning economist has just stated. In past wars they had bond drives and tax increased on the wealthy and investigations into price gouging. The neofascists have just got out the printing press. So don't let them fool you again and the "rebate" we are getting is just a loan to ourselves for our own debt. Have a good weekend and we are all in this together.

Thats year end or quarterly profits , they don't get to keep all that money ! Like any business they have to invest it to continue making money. Then the stock holders ,the little people most of them , get their cut. Then medical ,retirement , equipment . Trucks and such do not last more than 3 years in the oil field. You want to see who is making the big bucks ? it is the service company's ,investors , brokers , and Bush and Bob don't have a lot of friends left in the industry.
