Hi Guys. For those who don't frequent my other haunt, I thought I'd share the good news. My "new" Fv432 arrived last Monday. I drove it home and have spent the last three days turning wrenches, banging my head, greasing, oiling, and tipping back a few cold ones now and then. My little man has been right by my side the whole time, except for when he's playing with his big sister!

I'm also taking gasoline donations.

I purchased it three years. Today the rig would go low 30's by th etime you got it home. Prices went way up in the last few years. I guess the Brits cought on we were taking them home.

This one's a gas, 8 cyl. Rolls. MkII's have the multifuels installed, which have the muffler on the side. My muffler is on top. MkII's NBC system is tucked inside the hull, whereas the MkI's have the NBC filters sticking out the side. Mine got close to the mailbox as I backed it on base. Must have been my Wife's yelling that kept me from smashing it.

I don't know about the Fv432 but no conversion required on the U.S.5 ton. The only thing it would not handle is Av. gas or at least that is what the plate on the dash says.

This one's a MkI gas job, so I'd need about four grand plus shipping to get a multifuel powerpack shipped here!

Does a Half-track count? I and a couple other have WW2 Half-tracks, mine is a 43 White M-2-A-1, made up from 3 vehicles, top speed 25 mph, and it gets about 3 MPG, a lot of fun to drive!
