I bought this thompson , and I would like to put a horizontal forearm grip on it.

Can I , Will it fit , Where could I get one for this model.

I hate to sound really stupid here but what exactly do you measure to know
1/2 inch or 3/4 sorry for the stupidity.........

Never having to change my grip I would assume it would be the measurement of the width of the gripmount.

I got a nice looking one from IMA all that would need to be modified would be the slot and the barrel channel in the grip needs to be widened to fit the mounting bracket and the longer barrel both are relitively easy jobs.

OK so measure the grip across to see which one would be closest, right
Then might have to do a little dremmel work to fit properly.

Remove the front grip and measure the width of the "grip hanger" The original Tommys were 1/2" wide. On the semiautos it varies between 1/2" and 3/4".
