Love those MP34s, Rolls Royce of sub guns!! Apparently are a fairly simple build and got to go SBR route if you do. Been wanting to build one for along time. Weaponsguild has a lot of great info on building one, if you are interested.
Kratton, let me know if you ever want to part with one of those kits.
Original Item: Just Rediscovered; one Steyr Solothurn MP 34 (o) dummy guns found in a storage crate in the back of IMA! Fabulous Inert Display Sub Machine Guns built from all original parts on a virtually hidden solid steel display receiver and non-functional barrel. Produced after 1938 when...

Mine has a solid metal block for the back half of the receiver
Not sure how IMA did the block in the receiver but lower receiver portions are fairly simple and straight forward, along as they didn't butcher the original locking lugs at the rear that attach to the trigger. If they need to be made can be challenging, but not impossible. Semi conversion is fairly straightforward.
According to the back story this kit was purchased back in the early 90s from an unknown source along with several others.
It along with another are the last 2 of that batch.
Unfortunately it does have the Chilean markings but not the welded cover up on the left side.
As mentioned the lower is fairly simple but the latch insert can be very finicky.
No semi mods. This will be a post sample.
