Tiger762 that post is a oxymoron, But if the last part is true and you need to build a trunion then you would need die and not a tap and to have one made will cost sevral hundred dollars and more. It would be a lot cheaper to purchase a new trunion from a vendor or board member.
Hey HottAK47- And everyone thought your post on the AK style charging handle was confusing?
Sorry for the confusion. I need to know the thread diameter and pitch of the CHAMBER end of the barrel. I am not making a trunnion, I will not put my eye out. I just need to know what tap WOULD make a threaded hole that a 1919a4 barrel could screw into. I just need to know the tap size. Thanks to all who responded.

Does anyone know the thread at the muzzle end of the 1919 barrel? I need to order a tap that would be able to make a new trunnion. Thanks.
