My M2 tripod pintal uses a 9/16" bolt and my gun has a 5/8" hole clear through , does anyone make a bushing to take up the clearance? This seems to be a problem many have run into in past threads.
Yes, TARGSHOOT has them. I bought one from him a few months ago and it was perfect. Already parked and you just use the pintle bolt to tap it into place.
You might try a industrial supply store that sells bearings , I think Applied Industrial Tecnologies, or Motion Industries are nation wide they might have a sleeve type bearing that will drop in. 5/8" OD x 9/16 ID ought to do the trick.
I got some brass 5/8"OD, 3/8" bushing stock from AircraftSpruce.com and plan to drill and ream the inside bore to 9/16". May work, may get beat to death after 100 rds.
I received some of those fantastic trunnion bushings from targshoot last Saturday and Wow! what a perfect fix for my problem! Thanks Targshoot for such a fine product.
glad the bushings work good for you guys, im getting low on these i have about 20 left. i dont know if i will make any more. it will depend on demand here in the next couple months. kinda time consuming after cutting and reaming, then parking. trust me im not gettin rich on these, they are priced at bare bones and i do include ship at the 10.00 price. but i will keep it up as long as there are some kind of demand.
THANKS TO ALL WHO HAVE ORDERD!!
