That looks like a perfect example of non-lethal force being used. I saw nothing wrong with the officers actions. He avoided a situation that could have escalated resulting in physical injury to himself, or the suspect.

The cartridge has one set of barbs, but after the intial shock you can re-shock by pulling the trigger. IIRC even fter the cartridge is expended, you cna pop it out and shock directly from the Taser itself like the old stun-guns as well. I figure they'll finall authorize them in NJ on my retirement date.

Till the battery runs down i guess...i can only look at them at trade shows and drool, i havent had a chance to handle one or take a ride myself yet. But for a WAG I'd say you should be able to get 10-15 zaps out of a battery pack at least.

Troop was faced with a situation and clamly deescalated it without lethal force that guy should have been zapped more times just for talking lol j/k.
