dent

The trunion protector has a small dented area and the trunion has a dent in that spot from something...possibly the extractor arm...seems very odd and ill get pics on here once I get home.

You're likely running links. The links cause the wear. Get a new trunion protector ASAP.

Bill Guiette sells them. $14.00 shipped. Best price you'll find and a super great guy! Email or call him to order.

Trunion protectors are cheap. Trunions are expensive.

EDIT TO ADD: Cloth belts cause wear too but much, much, much more slowly.

Is this the wear spot on your trunion? While I am waiting for my RSP, cleaning and inspecting the parts, I have wondered if this was too much wear and if I need another trunion. I have purchased a new trunion protector..
