Well somebody got a deal on ammo! That had to hurt!

And it amazes me what some people are willing to pay for a box of ammo, and I am surprised that ATF hasn't shut her down for this one as it is AP and can be used in a pistol, and has never been available to the general public. I guess she justifies because it has "no restriction markings".

Of the 27 auctions she has feed back for she has sold two of her semi auto M3's I hope she has honored the one's she sold people and are waiting for them! In the old thread somebody was waiting for three of them!

You consider $389 for a case of 7.63x39 a good deal? Steel core meant nothing at the time. It was ALL steel core. I've been sitting on two dozen cases of this stuff just because it's boring to shoot a semi AK or SKS.

Ah well, I'd think more people would have their panties in a wad because they OWE guns and parts to so many people and haven't delivered... and as I have been led to believe most of the stuff and services have already been paid for... or so "they" say.

I mentioned good deal because they got a case of ammo for a penny! See auction link. And I know we both would buy a 1000 cases if we could for that!

Copy of My correspondence with Gunbroker Seller of Valkyrie Arms gun

Dear Mr Nimitz

Just so we are clear. Valery Johnson and/or Valkyrie Arms has absolutely nothing to do with my auction or the sale of any Valkyrie firearms in our inventory. The guns were purchased from her at a trade show several months ago. That was the last contact we had with her.

While I empathise with your situation, there is nothing I can do on your behalf. We do not have a personal relationship with any one at Valkyrie. Nor do we have contact information that isn't already listed on their website.

I have received numerous queries from individuals in your same situation. I would recommend contacting your attorney.

Respectfully,

Nick

Dear Nick,

I have paid Valery Johnson in full for an M3 Pistol
for which she has not delivered to my FFL. While this
is not your concern, it really peeves me to learn that
she is selling off her remaining stock through your
auction.

Please assist me by asking her to make good on her
sales committment to me, as she has not made to
courtesy to respond to my communications.

Thank you.

I am not sure whi is actually registered in the above auction, but, it appears to be from the State of Washington, and there is talk of no further manufacture.
I almost hate to bring this up. Did you know that the army still used the M-3 up through the M-60 series of tank?

I had these in my arms room up into the early nineties until we converted to the M-1.

I could order them new from General Motors Hydromatic division. They were $7.00 each and came in a little box about the size of a small shoe box. You screwed on the barrel and were ready to go.

Now this was as recent as the late 80's. That isn't that long ago.

We would qualify on the greaser and it was a great gun. I personally really liked the old .45 and the grease gun.

Almost a $1,000 for a lousy semi auto copy seems like highway robbery to me.

I must admit not one of my best decisions

You get attracted to something to fill the gap in the WW2 collection, talk to the manufacturer, think you are getting good vibes and go for it. What is worse for me is the fact that I had to put in a lot of overtime defending the country to pay for this. Defending what? So some alternative lifestyle type can have an easy life at my expense!

Oh, of course, I am...

i am in the same boat. $1000 is far too much for these but its the only option we have to have something that represents the orignal. its not a close representation but at least you can hold some steel and point out the differences.
