I'd be interested in the unnumbered part behind part #14 (feedblock) - that's a front top cover. They go for $70 here.

May be interested in the links and #16 (top cover) as well - would need to see it better - if it's a stripped top cover it is worth $100 - if complete (depending on the mfr) it could go for $300. I need a VSM (stamped VSM) and an Australian made top cover (it will be stamped OA or MA)

Also may be interested in the aiming lamp - would prefer a very early one though.

Part #1 is a fussee cover - they are available here for $75 US.

My gut tells me they will be asking a bit more for those parts over there than we can find here - I'm curious to see now.

Just from experience, Vickers gun parts are much cheaper and more common in the US than in the UK or Europe. In addition shipping will be fairly expensive and if you are importing gun parts (and some accessories) you technically need an import license. Nothing shown in the picture is rare or unobtainable here in the US. The aiming light in (used condition and if fairly complete) is worth about $100 and come up on eBay here in the US and Canada often. I am pretty sure that just shipping that from Europe will be $60 - $100.

@redroth and outdoordave, ... did not realise that such parts were more common in the US, i noticed them and thought it would be a good idee to show them in any case some one should need any.

Hi master22nl,
My main point is Vickers parts in particular are common and much cheaper here in the United States, even before you consider the cost of shipping.

As far as buying and importing it is not usually a problem shipping accessories (even if they typically require an import license). What can be problematical is shipping gun parts, if they x-ray it in customs and determine that they are gun parts and not accurately described on the customs documents they will at a minimum confiscate them and you have no recourse.

My point was to buy common Vickers gun parts at European prices, with currency conversion rates, International shipping rates, and taking a chance of importing without import licenses, was not worthwhile.

For other military (or rare gun related items) it might make sense.

I also know you are a gentleman and what ever someone buys from you will get here no problem.
