As you probably know, IMA (http://www.ima-usa.com/) has many of the parts you have pictured. IMA is always on the high side of Vickers parts prices but they are the only game in town.

The items you listed seem to be desirable early VSM parts for an individual with a WWI-era gun (you can find some early WWII Lithgow guns with WWI era VSM parts) but in my experience DP marked parts are extremely worn and have little use in working guns. This includes water jackets. DP parts are fine for display. In most cases, they were relegated to training (i.e., Drill Purposes) because they were beyond functional use. There are some exceptions with Enfield rifles but I've never seen this with Vickers parts. I have a DP lock that is so worn it practically falls apart in my hand.

Just to give you an idea of how being DP can decrease the value; you can purchase DP locks from IMA for around $50 while a functional lock goes for $150. Since your parts are marked DP (I don’t know about the grip) I would suggest the values are 1/3 - 1/2 the going market value of serviceable parts but this is just my humble opinion.

DP parts are usually good for DP only

I agree that many DP parts are beyond their useful life. IMA lists feedblocks like yours for several hundred dollars but I think that's a bit rediculous. I've found beautiful, all brass, VSM feedblocks for just over a $100. I've also recently scored:
1) Brand new barrels: 10 for $30ea, 3 for $50 ea
2) Brand new locks: 4 for $40 ea
3) Brand new feedblocks: $40
4) Firing pins: 10 for $30 ea
5) Firing pin and mainspring sets: 3 for $30/pair
6) Complete grips, exc: $100

My point here is to show that a lot of great parts are out there at great prices. Please...none of this is for sale!

My suggestion is to look at IMA, judge your parts, judge how fast you want to move them and price accordingly.

Also, IMA is NOT the only game in town! Alistair Ballantine has tons of superlative Vickers parts for sale. I will dig out his email and post it here later.

By the way...I'm interested in the flat muzzle assembly and the crank/recoil assembly. Please contact me with price. I'm only interested in the crank if the recoil plates have not been ground on the bottom. Had to remove my email...got about a 100 spams in a second!!! Please PM me on these.

Regards,
Joe

Joe -- You're giving away the secrets. Alistair Ballantine's email is afballantineAThotmailDOTcom. You know what to sub in for the AT and DOT. Incidentally, the best I can tell the pictured feed block is not all brass (there seems to be a little silver below the right tab) and IMA sells functional barss and steel block for $75 ea.

You're right... bear with me... I'm still learning how to tell the difference between the parts.

All items marked DP were beyond their usable life either in terms of excessive wear or technology. Worn Vickers items were withdrawn from front-line service, marked DP, and used for training. This is contrasted with some very serviceable Enfield rifles were marked DP for teaching close order drill after they were rendered obsolete by the SLR. This was never true with the Vickers. Was the tripod serviceable? If all the parts are there it will probably perform your intended purpose (as long as you are not doing overhead or map fire) but it will certainly have worn parts and be worth less than one not marked DP.

From the pictures, I couldn't see anything wrong. The tripod I have is marked DP as well. Kinda ticked me off as the fellow who sold it to me never said anything about it. Oh well. The one I have seems like it'll be fine for my semi auto purposes. Not going to put it through the paces like combat would do to it. Wish I wouldn't have had to pay the full price for it though. Lesson learned I guess.

These are all vickers parts that go with the other major parts you posted to make a complete kit. Just need the plates, a front end and top cover it looks like. Too bad the other ones are DP marked. If you are looking to sell, I would be interested a few of these pins, bolts, ect.
