Regarding DP tripods, is there anything wrong with them? There was one for sale near me recently but I hesitated too long.
From the pictures, I couldn't see anything wrong. The tripod I have is marked DP as well. Kinda ticked me off as the fellow who sold it to me never said anything about it. Oh well. The one I have seems like it'll be fine for my semi auto purposes. Not going to put it through the paces like combat would do to it. Wish I wouldn't have had to pay the full price for it though. Lesson learned I guess.
Off the top of my head, the azimuth ring had it stamped as well as the brass head. I'll look tomorrow to be sure. For what I paid, I sure as hell didn't expect a DP one. Oh well.
where would I look for the DP mark on the tripod? I have a couple and havent seen it but need to know where to look. Thanks
Everything on my tripod is marked DP. If it is held on by a bolt, chain, etc, it will be seperately marked.
