hey guys,

any of you ever pm someone and then the website just kicks you off...then for months i cannot get on...sure i can view it..but can't log in...then one day it just works again...now i pm someone and have to go to other computers!?!?

also i was in houston the other day, at memorial hospital....was waiting for my appointment and thought i would look up the site from there since i am banned at home...guess what! they called it an "inapropriate site" and blocked it!.....man o man...its coming guys...the homies on the street and the black panthers can march, ARMED, downtown houston and no problem...but try and just look up the site at the hospital and watch what happens. yea, remember the panthers protesting some douchbags execution? they were up and down the streets with SKS's and the news explained they were not breaking any laws...hey guys good for the goose good for the gander right? WRONG...yall go try that and see what happens...man this sucks.

Did you try to find out why the hospital had it marked as "inappropriate"? It's most likely they have a filtering system that flags certain words - and if their filtering criteria is objectionable, you should complain. It could be that some twit in their IS department doesn't like guns and has taken it upon himself to impose this restriction. If other administrators are made aware of it they could straighten out the situation. If, on the other hand, the administrators are imposing this, you could probably get some people to write letters and make a stink.

Or - the glitch might be something completely unexpected. For example, I work on projects with employees from several city and county departments. A couple of those departments have some sort of anti-spam filter system that blocks the server that I use for e-mail. The reason behind this turns out to be that my ISP is a very large one and has had problems in the past with spammers - and the IS guys in the departments that block my ISP are too out-of-date or too lazy to come up with an improved filtering system. But by putting pressure on them I can get them too allow my e-mails through.

this is so freakn weird...i complained about this and then i can pm again and log in...then...i start pming a member and after about 2 pm's i get knocked off...i can view you guys...but everytime i try and log in...it just goes right back to the screen like i never did a thing...so i have to go to these other computers...friends, library and such...so it is obviously my computer but what!?? makes a man's head spin.....

well...anyone else ever have this happen?

At the government office I work at this site is filtered based on the keyword guns. Pretty lame if you ask me. They allow shopping etc.. but not guns.
