just one of those days i guess. too hot, too tired, too pissed off, too many as!&%holes on the road with me, you name it , today I hated it. that is until I got home. little box in mailbox. open it up. thanks so much ArizonaBeagle. last week i was looking for a few bandoliers w/ strippers for my K98. dave s and arizonabeagle chimed right in.(thank you also dave)the gentleman took the time to very carefully pack up the bandoliers, right me a note describing each ones origin and dates, he even put in a little dept. badge key chain, and then he foot the bill for the shipping to boot. let me tell you John, you changed my entire crappy mood for the day. I know it's not a big deal to you if you have them laying around, and not a whole lot of money for the shipping, but it made my day man. thank you. just wanted to let everyone on this board know what a good thing you did. I hope it comes back to you ten fold.:D:D:D

That is what makes things work. I almost never charge and if I do it is a donation that goes to a charity. As per the .50 cal park tank deal I had on the .50 board.
I had a line on a split windshield for a M38A1 to accommodate a 106 recoilless. Fellow on another board pissed on my post saying that I would get him one. Complained everyone wanted to sell him something. He missed out on a freebie. I find the more I do give the more comes back. For example I gave a friend a M2HB barrel (used) and just got a brand new in wrap stellite barrel free from another friend. I'm given about a ton to a ton and a half of stuff a year and do my best to pass it on.
It's the same at work. Some poor SOB breaks down, we patch them up, hope they get home ok and tell them to do someone else a favor. This board used to be all about that and thankfully still is to a degree, as that was the original intent, people helping people with similar interests.
