I learned to shoot and appreciate firearms in the Boy Scouts, but we never got an experience like that! Thank you, xkss62, for bringing such a great experience to these kids. That ROCKS!

A couple more from the weekend. This was in Jackson, MS for those who are wondering.

The pic of them above in the ponchos was taken after they came back from their LPOL duty. We had 4 LPOP's out and just as the kids went on duty a 10 pm the heavens opened up and the lightning was so bad we had to shut down all the COM for a hour. All the adults from the other 3 LPOP's bailed and came back in to the Firebase. AT 11:00pm we called the kids and they were asking if the could go out and patrol.
